As some of you may know, I'm pretty bad with women and It's still a mystery to me as to why. A funny thing happened though. My school is maybe 20 minutes outside of NYC and for some reason, these girls were infatuated with me.

Most girls i talk to here think i'm some side show monkey who is too afraid to make a move when their window is so stupidly small. I get them to try and like me, and of the small portion that do, the window closes on me, it's fucking retarded.

These girls never broke interest though. It was like i was some god. A guy from the NYC area taking interest in some slightly shy girl from some fly over state.

And let me tell you, these girls were way better looking than the stuck up bitches who continually treat me like I'm some leper.

What gives? Why are the girls I'm around here so superficial and bitchy? I have the option of relocating for a job after i graduate, should i consider it?

1. Vacation mentality. You're going to be way more attractive during a time constraint.
2. It reads like you were actually enjoying being around these girls.
3. You seem like you were relaxed and not giving a shit about the outcome (which can make you miss opportunities at times) and that creates an aura of confidence.
4. You were in an environment with a lot of common ground which also creates more confidence.

I see these beautiful women in the after dinner bar int he hotel lobby and i actually got some anxiety, but it wasn't until i introduced myself that they seemed to be WAY more interested in impressing ME than i could ever do. They wanted to know what it was liek to be by NYC, they went apeshit when i told them i lived there for a few months. And yeah after a few minutes of walking around i was having so much fun. Even tried to get one girl to show me her hotel room but her roommate was in there studying for her next leg of the competition. But my jokes were the funniest thing they ever heard, my comfort routines were nothing short of something they see on America's Got Talent (yes i rely on the Cube but a lot of it has to do with my inability to not brag or go into interview mode when i get nervous) and they kept commenting on how awesome i dress (lots of wrist candy, sweatervest/tie combo, buggy had, moctoe boots, etc) I felt awesome for once. I didn't feel like people were rolling their eyes at me and wanting to leave. It was so fun that I actually i was in the lobby with this beautiful blonde from Salisbury University on the couch just talking and owning the conversation that it caught the attention of a hiring director from UPS and now i'm getting a phone interview in January because "You really come in as an underdog but man you can control a situation and a conversation. That's exactly what we need for an account manager with us" The other guys from the other schools kept asking me to introduce them to my female classmates/ wondering if they liked them back/ how to talk to them since they seemed sort of cold. It really got me thinking that maybe the north east really is full of guarded, bitchy women that swallow up inexperienced guys like me. Sorry for being wordy

Oh for fucks sake would you stop generalizing? This is exactly your problem. You meet someone from the "north east" and immediately assume, even if on a subconscious level only, that they're some sort of unapproachable bitch. And then your interaction will reflect that. Preconceived notions influence your behavior exponentially more than you'd think. It's called a self fulfilling prophecy. You're doing well with these other girls because you're starting off on neutral ground. Granted there may indeed be some cultural differences, but you're talking different states, not different corners of the Earth. Although yes, if things don't pan out for you, consider moving to a different place for college.
