| Post subject: | Girl asked me out. I canceled last minute. Can I save this? |
I'm new to these forums and I'm new to practicing the art of seduction. This will be my first post. Here goes nothing. I joined ballroom dancing club to meet girls. I met a girl. Since I know that I will see this girl every week at club, I know I can take my time with this seduction. Things have been going quite well. But as you'll see, I hit an unexpected bump in the road. There may be some positives out of this bump. I'm not sure. I'm hoping that an experienced pick-up-artist can shed some light on what a woman in this situation may be thinking, feeling, respond well to, and respond poorly to. This would be my first seduction. Here has been the order of events. Week one: We meet. We dance. We chat. We swap partners. Repeat for two hours. We have a lot in common. There are plenty of excuses to hang out. At the end of the first club meeting I say: "You should put your number in my phone." She puts her number in my phone. I smile and leave. Week two: We meet. We dance. We chat. Swap partners. Repeat. Somewhere in the middle of that she asks me if I want to go folk dancing some night. It's an hour after ballroom dancing. It's downtown. I say yes. I think she likes me. During that week we shared some texts. I opened on Tuesday if I needed special shoes for folk dancing. She opened on Thursday saying that yes, Saturday at 7:00 after ballroom dancing is the plan. Saturday: Here is the text transcript: 11:57 A.M. Movieyes: "Ari" 11:58 A.M. Ari: "Movieyes" 12:02 P.M. Movieyes: "Im not coming to dance tonight." 1:18 P.M. Ari: "Oh okay, well maybe next week then" 1:35 P.M. Movieyes: "Yes." Week 3: I don't go to dance that night. Week 4: Thanksgiving break. No dance for Movieyes. No dance for Ari. I have many questions in my head that I would like to know. How do I salvage this? What do I text? Do I text? What will I say when I look into her eyes at dance this Saturday (today is Monday)? What should I not say? Where am I and where can I get? For the record I canceled on Ari because I had plans with another woman. That woman canceled those plans on me. If this forum post goes well, I may post a question about that too... Cheers, -Movieyes |

Stop overthinking. Give her a chance to react to you. Don't try to save something that doesn't necessarily need saving. |

Stop using dancing as a disguise to get phone numbers. You need to show show some intention and let it be known that a number exchange will be for romantic reasons. Not for dance partners |

I only read the topic of the thread. If there's one thing in the world that will get a woman's mind working on you and wondering about you and being curious about you, it's you canceling on her. "Can I save this?" You probably saved it by cancelling. |

You need to go out and meet more girls. There is a disgusting amount of neediness and desperation in this post. It's making my head hurt. |

Th cancelling probably didn't harm you. Just get her out and make a move. She's clearly interested so strike while the iron's hot. |
