Hello, I am a 20 year old college student. I recently started hanging out with a girl who is cool, fun and everything I am looking for. She is a STEM major and is very busy, so she can not hang out regularly. She recently finished the work that she needs to do, so I want to make a move now. To preface this, we are friends, she is the ex of my friend. She is very attractive and smart, as am I. The last four or so times we have hung out (other than last time), this is what has happened: I never get a bad vibe from me and am pretty sure she is into me. However, she never hits me up to hang out but she says this is because she is busy all the time (which she is, confirmed by her friends), so I usually hit her up first on the weekend. However, I do not do this out of desperation, because every time after we hang out I tell her that I will hit her up next time. And I usually wait 2 or so weeks to so I don't come off as desperate. I'm not going to act like I have laid out major game on her because she is honestly the first girl I am trying these PUA tactics on. But my question essentially is: If I am in control of the situation in the sense that I take initiative every time and tell her that I will hit her up and I wait two weeks or so to do so, does it still come across as bad and I should actually wait for her to hit me up, or does me saying most of the time that I will hit her up project confidence? Because I feel in the modern world, the whole hit someone up - they hit you up - hit someone up rotation is obvious and kind of childish. Or am I over-analyzing this? Willing to clarify my position -- kind in of a rush posting this |

A confident man does whatever he wants. Hit her up whenever you want. She either takes it or leaves it. Winners do not waste time on bullshit. Nor play games. Is as simple as seeing what you want and going for what you want. No one wants to go through endless mental torture of cat and mouse games. Simplify your game, simplify your thoughts, simplify your life. Get more girls. The fact that you are so fixated in this one girl is going to bite you in the ass. Unless she's as insecure as you are.... and i highly doubt that. Anyway good luck. Breathe Deep. |

I am almost positive that by this point she sees you as a friendly buddy and nothing more. If you make a move at this late date, her alarm bells will go off like a motherfucker, and rightly so. For the love of humanity do this girl a massive favor and move on from her. With the next girls, show your intent early on as in the first time you speak with them. You don't have to verbally express your intent. A woman KNOWS when you are into her. |

You can call/text her as often as you want. But... 1. Take a hint If she hasn't returned your last 5 phone calls and you've sent the last 10 text messages, get the picture and move on. It's not going to give you any particular "result" but it's more a matter of not wasting your time on a girl who doesn't like you. 2. You making this post is needy and desperate Whether you want to admit it or not, you asking this question shows neediness and desperation. It's okay to keep contacting her, but you need to meet more girls. There's not a "technique" you need to learn that will help you out. |
