Hello: The girl in question is an old oneitis who friendzoned me. In her own words she says I am a lot of fun, patient, understanding, reliable, smart, but phisically not her type. She has sometimes shown interest and jealousy but when I escalate it always ends with some massive LMR. In the meantime I have been improving my looks and she has already pointed it sometimes. Since she friendzoned me I have reduced communication. Last night, presumably after a bad date, she texted me a long text with stuff like "I think I will end up alone. Everytime I am intersted in someone I always end up hurt. I always mess things up. I can't trust anybody and always drive people away" and quite a lot along that. It was late so I pretended I didn't see it. This morning I just replied "I'm sorry (not an apolegy, as in feeling sorry for her situation. It's explicit in my mother lenguage). Only saw it now. Off to work, we'll talk later." So, first, is it a good time to reheat things? And if so, how can I turn this in my favour? Thank you! |

This was douche-chillingly awful, man. You are the emotional tampon here. She won't fuck you, but she'll tell you about her problems fucking other guys and finding love... You see this as interest on her part? It's not. This forum is full of reports just like this one. The almost always end the same. |

You're opting to be her shoulder to cry on? What the hell lol. What on Gods pick up forum did she do to deserve that? You reward her with attention and a promise to communicate with her later for going on some date that went unsuccessful and telling you about it as a way to make herself feel better. Not only did she get to "vent" and feel better, but she got additional male attention to go with it. What did you get? What do you even want? And then you wonder why she isn't interested. |

It's already been said but some guys need to hear it more than once to get the idea. OP should have ignored this chick. She obviously knows that he will provide reassurance to her bruised ego after her failed date. My ideal reply is only 3 words: Not. My. Problem. You're a chump for offering to soak up her tears.
