Hey all, I am from Dallas TX and have joined a new club. There is this girl who I have been talking to and have been driving home on occasion. I am not sure whether she likes me or is being nice. Here are a couple key points ya'll can help me decipher. Good Signs (I Think) 1. She often touches me in the arm for at least five full seconds 2. She laughs a lot when I talk 3. she sticks her tongue out in a playfull manner 4. she downloaded a song that made her think of me 5. she punches me in the arm playfully for no good reason 6. she often leaves hints about how she is hungry and asks me if I have been to certain restaurants. 7. we make pretty decent eye contact 8. she offered me her number 9. she has invited me to a nightclub that her friends are going to (but told me to bring my friends as well) 10. she has joked about coming to my house to eat my parents food 11. she got close to my face and asked me how much I loved her (as a joke) 12. she has made sexual comments (jokingly) Bad Signs (I Think) 1. She doesn't probe me with too many questions about my personal life 2. She has never asked if I am in a relationship and she has never revealed those details about herself either 3. She has a pretty open personality to people in general from what I can tell 4. I believe she has called me buddy once So what do you ya'll think? My biggest hesitation is that if I make a move and she rejects me it will be awkward for the rest of the time I see her. I also am overweight and I feel that she is a bit out of my league looks wise. Should I go for it? If so, how should I show her I am interested subtly and how do i ask her out? Also are there any other key signs that I should look for when it comes to women being attracted? Time you took writing that huge ass list of good signs you could've used asking her out. Just go for it dude. Yeah it may become awkward, but between that and friendzoning yourself, I think it's obvious which is worse. |

You don't want to be her friend. So you might as well ask her out, so being rejected isn't as awkward as you think it will be. Be optimistic and assume why that why wouldn't she be interested in you... You 100% of the shots you don't take |

Free favors? Not that every girl you drive home as to sleep with you, but I know you're not driving a girl home who you're sexually interested in and just aren't trying to escalate? I think that being on this forum would denote that you would at least try something. That way we'l take the " future" out of your user name. I wrote a post called " Dear Women, Men Want Femininity Back" on my site, you should check it out. Women do and me do not visually see each other in the same way. If you've ever had a female tell you that her friend was beautiful and then you see a picture of her friend you would understand this very well. They see looks sure, but they also have the ability to see through them to like us for other reasons. I've been 50 pounds heavier than I currently am and my lays haven't changed much at all, not in quality or quantity. I've always looked in the mirror and saw and amazingly great looking guy. The same way an anorexic looks in the mirror and sees a fat person no matter how skinny they get. My self perception fueled my confidence and it is my confidence that makes me attractive; despite being a super good looking dude. |
