Post subject:  Any Good Fashion/Style tips or Posts here?

Hi,

I've been studying game since about November last year and getting some results, doing my best to improve all areas of Health, Wealth & Relationships

Now my focus is to improve my Sense of style, I think I'm getting too old to be dressing in Streetwear (think Chris Brown). I'd like to dress more like a Man and more respectable.

Any suggestions or YouTube channels you think could help me?

Thanks in advance.

Nice to meet you.

There's a guy on YouTube called Alpha M who gives some good tips.

Other than that, I'd just look on fashion websites really, pick a look that you like... as long as your clothes fit well and look clean, there's not much more to it. Just don't be too typical. Try and add something a little unusual, but something that goes with who you are.

Just look around man. I'm sure you already have an idea of what "more respectable" is, my main advice to you would be to just spend twice the money on half the clothes. You'll feel better, they'll stay in place, and they will last a lot longer. Just like with women, you want to go for the quality over the quantity if you can help it.

I've never thought about this. I used to be what the UK calls a chav... basically means I used to walk around in tracksuits and hats lol. Tracksuits used to cost me around £120... but now I dress a lot smarter, and my clothes are 1/2 the price. I'm wearing a T shirt today that cost me £5 (about $9)

I'm also wearing skinny jeans that cost me £15 ($45) and I feel quite smart...

I've had French Connection shirts that have looked shit after a couple times in the wash.

I'll say one thing though: I've found that expensive tops generally fit better.

I think an expensive jacket and shoes are all that you really need. You can get high quality jeans at low prices, if you know what to look for... a plain, slim fit T shirt doesn't need to be expensive.

I agree with feeling a lot better though. Which in turn makes you feel and look a lot more confident, and motivates you to take better care of other things such as your hair and whatever. If you've got the money for the expensive clothes, then go for it... but not to the point that you'll be struggling to afford things.

Another tip that I found on a site called SoSuave or something, was to dress like you're going on a date every single day. Apparently this changes your whole life lol... I've been slacking on this, but I have randomly dressed my best for no reason for a week or 2 before... and I felt a lot better about myself.

I will 2nd the AlphaM youtube channel. Just adapt to his annoying voice.

Also, sign up to fashion beans. Copy the pics and get all your shit tailored. Wear less chavvy trainers and hoodies and more shoes and shirts.

Stick with style. not fashion.

Go for quality like Eddie suggested, and buy fitting clothes. Vast majority of guys wear clothes 1 or 2 numbers bigger than what they should and it looks plain bad.

As far as "what" to buy, that depends on the season and also where you live. Wouldn't make much sense to buy a nice blazer if you're in a tropical region, would it?

Some basic guidelines are:

- Don't go for colours that don't compliment your skin tone.

- Usually a good idea that your attire doesn't mix more than 3 colours. Blue jeans, orange shirt, black shoes and brown jacket doesn't work.

- Match. Match your shoes with your jacket and/or shirt. In some cases, with the belt as well. Wear accessories of the same nature. Aka if you wear a silver bracelet / necklace don't go for gold sunglasses frames. Go for silver frames.
If you got blue eyes, patterned shirts or hints of blue will highlight them and get you compliments.

- Don't wear T-Shirts to social gatherings. Ever. Unless it's a festival / concert or something of a similar nature where you jump around a lot or need mobility. Don't go to a date wearing a T-Shirt basically. You get the point.

If you have a female friend that has a good fashion sense, ask her to go shopping with you. Women love to shop and if it's for a guy they'll love it even more. Just be careful, not all women are fashion gurus and furthermore, some may wanna dress you to their idea of a good looking guy, not necessarily to what fits good with you.
