L: So, I got kicked out of a PUA forum. I stated the obvious. That maybe the reason that women don't like to go home with strange men they meet in bars is because it's dangerous. And not because they're evil, man hating, feminist bitches who get off on withholding sex from men. I pointed out that men have a nasty habit of killing their sex partners, which anyone knows who watches the news. They denied this was true. Kept insisting that women don't have real concerns for their safety, And kept citing personal examples of women who *had* gone off with them into the night without knowing their name as 'proof.'

E: Ugh. Whenever I heard bullshit like this, I always want to say, Is this what you would want for you own daughter? It's always met with an uncomfortable second thought and obnoxious look on their face as they stumble their words.

L: They banned me before I could respond. I was going to tell him "I don't know what bitch was dumb enough to leave to go have sex with a stranger, but if she keeps it up she will eventually be found floating somewhere."

E: She's probably already been found floating somewhere.

L: It's a numbers game. You go off with enough strange men and one of them will kill you. Eventually you'll hit the rape strangler. It's playing Russian roulette.

E: Yeah. Men don't want to admit it outloud, but they *know* how bad they are. Maybe not every single one of them is bad, but they know what some of their peers are capable of.

L: But why do they seem to think their dick comes above our safety?

E: I have no idea

L: And that we're "such a bitch" when we don't want to go off and have sex with a near stranger. Like, you know this kind of thing could get me killed.

E: Right. Let alone the fact, maybe we just weren't interested in the first place. Like, maybe we have standards and just flat out didn't want it

L: I can't imagine a scenario where I would ask someone to risk their life for something so trivial. Like "I know you might die if you do this thing, but I want you to do it anyway, for my personal gain, while getting very little out of it yourself."

E: Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... But then, we weren't raised to put our needs before others.

L: Remind me to teach my son not to ask anyone to take a very un-streetwise risk that he wouldn't take himself. Would he go off in a back ally with some shady ass character with a gun who looks like he's about to mug him?

E: Like, God forbid we have standards. Or choices. Or rights. I always want to say "Oh, I forgot I'm a woman and I need you to think for me!"

L: What do they think is so great about their dick that I should risk my life for it?

E: Not sure. It's a double edged sword because the man calling you a bitch for not sleeping with them is the same man saying you have low standards if you choose him. Only the second is true.

L: LOL. And it's not like he's going to feel grateful or obligated after. At best you'll never hear from him again, at worst he'll make you a subject of public ridicule. Why do think they think we would take such an incredible risk with our life, safety, and reputation when there is so little in it for us?

E: I don't think they do think anything... I think these men do not have a Theory Of Mind, which is when you are aware that other humans are humans like you with brains and feelings and perception, I think they just think we're objects meant to bend at their will, like they made us up in their heads.

L: What do we get out of it? That we couldn't get from a vibrator? At least a vibrator isn't going to turn out to be a rape-strangler, or go mock us to his friends after. But yes. I think to them we are kind of a figment of their imaginations. We are an idea. Not real.

E: Also, vibrators don't need to brush their teeth, quit smoking, loose ten pounds, and take a god damn shower for Pete's sake #qualitymen

L: They don't grasp that we could have a "side." Or that we could be over here looking back at them. That this deal looks really bad from our end, and is not worth taking. Because to them we don't have a "side" of the deal. Because they don't think we really exist.

E: Right, exactly

L: Women are a 'concept.'

E: Exactly

L: I think that's just an intellectual way of saying they're bastards and just don't care.

E: They're the same way with destroying their environment/the world around us. But unlike trees, we can actually talk back! And they STILL don't listen. When the aliens come, I'm going as a stow-away to the more advanced planet.

1: Buy a hand gun
2: Take a concealed carry course
3: Get a concealed carry permit
4. Stop being scared. Violent crime has been decreasing the last 60 years, you're less likely to be killed now, then in the past.

It has more to do with discouraging men from being violent first place. Mainly to changed the mentality of women always being a helpless victim.

Just remember that 70 - 85% of murder victims are men not women. So women are less likely to be killed.
