What is social status.. I'm new here, and I have a lot of questions So I was talking to my female friend about how I’m approaching women. I was telling her I was approaching average looking girls(generally 5-6's), she stated “Even ugly girls don't find you attractive”, then I stated “Well I am very attractive, tall dark and handsome”, then she explained “Not to them, you are not, Yes you are very good looking but, You don't have social status, you're not popular, you don't dress trendy, you're not into trendy things, all women want is someone who's popular, trendy and has high social status, money, car, tons of popular trendy friends wealth etc etc. They'll date the ugliest man in the world if he has all that”. I replied “Well, other men have been able to do what I’m trying to do, what about them?” So what is Social Status and social value, how much does what my friend say matter to women? Yes, the women I have been approaching, I do not exist with in their social group(plus I live in a small town that I did not grow up in) So yeah I can guess they mite be a bit weary of me, because they have no way of knowing anything about me threw friends, No way of knowing where I fall into social order. I’m an outsider, the lone wolf, and I outright refuse to play the social game, I don't want social status nor do I need it. However how can being the lone wolf be used to my advantage? |

Social status is pretty much popularity. What she is actually talking about is preselection. Women will like a guy because other women like that guy. Afterwards, she has no idea what she's talking about because she's giving you a logical explanation. Women can attempt to follow logic, but in the end are usually led by emotion. You learn to be attractive to a woman's emotional side, you'll be able to seduce her. I'm not going to say that you shouldn't try to dress your best, look your best, and have motivations outside of pickup because all of those things will make you more attractive. |

First off: Like I always say on this forum. If you want to know how to hunt a deer, you don't ask the deer, you asked the deer hunter. So there is no way you should be basing a forum question around some non sense another woman told you about attracting women. I personally think you may want to consider dropping her as friend. She's making a point to put you down. And that seems to be a reoccurring theme among women that have beta male friends. What she said has some truth, but there are plenty of guys without her definition of social status that are getting laid. |

She kinda puts all her friends down, Alpha or Beta, its a defence mechanism that stems from her bad childhood. Though yeah, I've first hand experienced preselection work, one time I had three women approach me in a bar to ask me to dance or talk to me, usually its women from out of town who do that. Thing was I did not dress any different from before and was in a neutral mind set, though I was in a super-confident mood as well. |
