Hey people, At school when you turn in an assignment you get a grade saying how well you did on the assignment and what you could have improved on. On the job you get a performance review every 6 months, but what about PUA? You can't ask a girl what you did right and wrong in seduction, and there could be a litany of reasons why you couldn't kiss, fuck or number close her. Some people fail from pick up just because they aren't aware of the problems they're making while they're attempting to seduce. Some never get over this problem and leave the community for good. I understand practice makes perfect, but what good is practice without feedback? So my question to you all is, how do you not only get better, but learn from what you did right and wrong? Maybe you approached wrong, had bad body language or she just wasn't interested, but unless you have a mentor or someone telling you, you may be SOL. So...thoughts? |

Well.... I don't think detailed feedback is all that useful. Does it make sense to say "well if you stood this way" or "if you said X instead of Y" you'd have had her?? In the realm of social interaction, as long as you can hold your own no matter who you talk to and you can convey your value as a male, you have a good shot. Does it make sense that even the most skilled PUA would be able to magically morph into someone that would instantly attract anyone he approached? We try our best to do that (which is the essence of the first sentence of this paragraph), but humans are so dynamic I am pretty sure this is impossible to achieve. We can improve ourselves on this spectrum, but to be perfect (ie 100% hit rate)? Impossible. You learn from each rejection and you can make little tweaks such as wearing better clothes or being in better physical shape (if you want a fit partner, be fit yourself! it helps build common connection!) but I haven't found that to make much of a difference in results. Girls are binary imo; ie when you approach a girl either likes you or not. Either way, the best focus is becoming the best person you can be, and then finding a woman that is on the same level as you, physically, mentally, etc. |

But is that true to the PUA culture? I'm not saying that the MPUA's have a 100% success rate, but I believe PUA is more than just being a better you, or find the one on your level. It's about gaining that coveted ability of seduction. You may not have a 100% success rate, or hell even an 80% success rate, but you should be able to confidently go out and know that SOMEONE is coming home with you. Being fit is good, wearing nice clothes is good, but the bigger emphasis isn't outward appearance. It's inner game and your game as a whole. In my opinion a true PUA should be able to pickup and seduce if he's in the club, or at Target, peacocking or wearing jeans and a T-shirt. And I don't think you get to that level solely focusing on outward appearance. |

This is why some people hire a coach man. The more self aware one is, the more they will know how well or poorly they did. Some guys just need someone on the outside looking in to help them develop their skills. Personally though, your success is your report. And I can't think of litany of reasons that one couldn't go for the kiss. Fear is usually the only one. If you have time to approach, you have time to lean in and go for the kiss. This sounds like a complain post man. When you're getting better you will get closes, numbers, kisses, and sex. If you aren't getting any closes then you aren't improving. How often do you go out? And how many women are you approaching on average when you do? Pick Up is almost like exercise. You put the work in and you will see results. Others well notice before you do, but with enough consistency, results are inevitable. |

You echoed exactly what I intended to say. As you improve your numbers get better but I doubt that a MPUA can get even 50%... unless his standards are way lower than his value.Being fit is good, wearing nice clothes is good, but the bigger emphasis isn't outward appearance. It's inner game and your game as a whole. In my opinion a true PUA should be able to pickup and seduce if he's in the club, or at Target, peacocking or wearing jeans and a T-shirt. And I don't think you get to that level solely focusing on outward appearance. You can present a better exterior, but the interior is much more important, which comes out when interacting with any other person. That's why working on yourself and other things is better than just learning game. |

I'll admit there is some impatience in my post. I do need to go out more, and that's why I made a post about a rule of thumb for how many times one should try to go out and meet women. I do go out now, but its like 2-3 times a week, and I generally don't count the number I approach...I just do it. |
