Dumped my girlfriend like 5 months ago and went a bit AFC in the ensuing months trying to get her back. Long story short I've been no contact for a month and a half and am currently on holiday in Europe when we have the following conversation. 'Happy Birthday! I heard your in Italy, have a great time xx" Me: Ah *gf's name* returns. Thank you. Are you in Europe?' Ex: no I was but not anymore Me: ah I could have driven to you. Almost crashed about 5 times today though. Ex: lol be careful! Anyway I have to go in really tired but see you around I didn't answer the last text. What do people make of this conversation? Should I try to reengage or wait for her to come back to me? This was last night. |

This is beyond text game. If you think you should get back together, just tell her how you feel and that you miss her. See if she is on the same page. To me, her replies are very aloof and you need to some serious making up to do for her. I don't know the full story if it ended bad or good or not, so really depends on why you broke up. |

It seems odd that she started the conversation though doesn't it?

Never try getting back with an ex. You move forward in life by taking steps forwards, not backwards.

Not to. You do so and she "got" all she came in to get.. And thats attention. She won't be receptive and won't bother engaging you for long. You'll also feel defeated when she doesn't reply. Save your dignity and move forward with your life. Had you put in the work to find someone worth your time you wouldn't even be considering this. |

I don't understand how you can't find a girl. isn't that the point of all this. Sounds like an excuse. |

Well yeah, after being in a relationship or taking a break for a while, you get rusty. Things like AA and old mistakes can come back. The trick is knocking off the rust. It really should not take too long to get tyte game though. I'd say a couple months max... If you're just knocking off rust and getting back into the flow of things it should take less time. |

(in my society there's no concept of one night stands so only way to have sex is to actually be in a relationship whether a romantic one or a frnds wid benefits type... but cant hve one night stand though) |
