I will contribute though that guys usually send their relationships going down hill when a woman does something very generous for them by changing the way they feel about the girl based on her action.

When a woman says "i love you" she is saying it to the guy you were being to her just before she said it. That was the guy that prompted her to make that statement in the first place. Therefore, if you allow her saying "I love you" to change you in anyway, you are no longer the guy she loves.. You have become a new guy, a guy that was affected by her last statement. And this same concept goes for when a woman has been completely generous to you. If you remained the guy you were right before her generous acts, her generous act will have continued without stop, because that is the guy that prompted her to be generous in the first place.

When guys do something nice for each other it is to endear ourselves to the other person. To let them know that we want to keep hanging with them.

When a woman does something nice for you, she is doing it to notify you to continue being the guy you were right before she did it. " Don't change" - "Don't like me anymore because of this" " I'm only doing this to remind you to keep being who you were just being".

Men work a little differently, so we go off thinking women are thinking the way that we think, and their thinking is just as different from ours as their body is different from ours.
