Hey guys and gals Met this cool girl in the best coast that I've been talking to via text here and there lately. When we met it was at a film festival that I was in. She was really cool and we connected very well. Fast forward a bit, I am now on the East Coast and her in the West Coast. She text me here and there and I text her back so we communicate like that. So this is funny... This morning I responded to a text that she sent me from last night. She text me back shortly after saying... Her: Hey, should we be Facebook friends: Me: Idk (name) That's like unveiling the porn stash I thought it was funny to say and she replied... Her: Ha! Her: I am ok with not doing it. I didn't say anything afterwards but I know she really wants to be my friend. I'm not sure how I feel about it at the moment. I don't have anything to hide but I kinda like the way things are now. I was thinking of just friending her first and saying "Hey, I did you the favor and added you first." idk thoughts would be helpful. |

I'd be interested in seeing responses to this... I never offer FB adding but have just accepted the couple of the times I've been asked. One girl even asked what my last name was because she 'saves everyone's first and last name in her phone' lol. Then after that asked directly for my FB (I think because she couldn't find me with just my name). But she was a bit odd anyway and asked me to taste her drink before her on the date to show I hadn't drugged her... My FB isn't that great so I like to avoid giving it to girls so they can find out too much about me (some mystery is good, surely?) I don't know about your question. Just chiming in... |

I don't see the point. Escalation of information comes with escalation on her part as well as yours. So long as you guys are on opposite coast I really don't think it matters. Doing it or not doing it won't make a difference. She's thousands of miles away. There are girls on your own coast walking around right outside. But your talking through your device to someone you won't be able to see anytime soon. Think about that. |

Go for it. Makes no huge difference, Facebook can be a great way for the girl to stalk your life. It can work to your advantage if your life is interesting and you have cool pictures up... doesn't hurt. I know some chicks get cold feet from online dating and add my Facebook to make sure I am a normal guy. Just my 2 cents. |
