How do you guys do to change the emotional state of a girl making her feeling like in a emotional roller-coaster? |

Be in one (an emotional roller coaster) yourself. Be a drama queen, a funny one. Be intense, energetic, passionate, enthusiastic. Well, it's easy to say, and it's easy to do once you get the mental energy (or "state"), but it's not easy to get there to begin with if you've not been there before. To have the awareness and knowledge how to get in state is what RSD Tyler calls "process orientation". Check that out if you like. I remember how I questioned some people who always had energy, were outgoing and funny. "How do you keep up being like that? Where do you get your energy?". I was always tired, low on energy. But the more I went out, having both good and bad nights, trying really hard to be that way, I finally learned what puts me in state, what to look for and what I should avoid. Today, I find it rather easy, but I also know it takes some effort, so I don't keep it up all the time like others. Sometimes I enjoy being a low energy, boring introvert. And I allow myself to be one, because I know exactly what to do to break out from that bubble. These are the things that puts me in state: 1. Good music 2. Positive and attractive people, people with good game 3. Social interactions with those people, even when I don't feel like it and just want to go home. Forcing myself to talk, but NOT forcing any special mood. Always congruent and self accepting. Whatever I feel and whatever mood I have is okay. 4. Making jokes, playing around, messing with people. Self amusing. Fokus on state and having fun, TOGETHER with other people(!!!) and the rest will follow by itself. |

Yeah, as much as I hate RSD(Tyler in particular), the one thing they do better than anyone, is explain state control. Between Tyler on the Blueprint and the 2nd chapter of Authentic King, those were some of the most useful things I've learned from PU material. |
