I like a girl in my college program.Shes a freshmen and I'm a senior.I was thinking about telling her that the program advises seniors to exchange contact information with new comers.I then tell her that I already got everyone else's number but hers.Do you think this would work? Thanks and I am kinda shy when it comes to forums :/ so forgive if I don't reply sometimes. |

Sure it might work. But she won't have a clue that you're contacting her because you're interested. She'll think it's school related... And you want to be clear about what you want. Just talk to her for a bit, tell her she seems cool and ask for her number. Now - I've seen enough threads just like this one to know you're not going to do that. You're going to stalk her and get her number some other way... Then text her for 3 months to discover she's now dating someone else in your class... (Can you tell this has happened before and that your situation isn't unique?). Best thing you can do is step out of your comfort zone and put yourself out there. |

She seems to laugh at most of my jokes and stuff.I told my instructor that I like her and he paired us up.She gets kinda jealous when I have gotten paired up with other girls and would spend most her time focus on my group.I have had small talks with her and joked around but I don't know.Plus we have like 2 weeks left and she has class right after the class we be in .Thanks for the reply bro. |

Oh please bro. So you want to start the interaction off lying? Things start how they end. And why do you need an "excuse" to get a girls number? Besides, you'll feel worse if she rejected you with that excuse, if she rejected you from you being honest and being a man. |

So you have a suspicion that she's interested in you? Well there you go. Getting her number by saying you have everyone elses may work, but in the end thats only going to prolong things. You'l get her number and then you'll still have to slog through a load of texting small talk before you can steer things in the right direction. Being honest straight away means you get an answer straight away. you know what, here's one of my moves to try for free. Ask for her number, she tells you as you type it into your phone, and straight away with no pause send her a text saying "drink?" or coffee or whatever. Ive done this before and its quite funny and cheeky. Usually they'll just smile at you and give you a reply with a text message aswell. Just dont carry that on much more tho! |
