you are waiting in line and there is a girl behind you. this could be anywhere, lets say at the dmv or post office. you start talking to the girl. the problem is, the line is moving quickly and you dont have much time left. then they call out your name, meaning it's your turn. I find that moment awkward because I dont know if i should continue talking to her or if I should go. I find it awkward to suddenly stop a conversation. so for example: me: "what are you doing here?" her: "oh I am here to get my license, and you?" me: "I am here to..." NEXT GUEST PLEASE I dont want to be rude so I cant stop the conversation in the middle of a sentence. but I also dont want to continue it because it looks weird to continue when it's your turn. That's one aspect of waiting in line that i hate. the next thing is, how to continue where you left off? so lets say you go in there, you do your thing, you're done. now it's her turn. she goes in. at this point, you are done, you can go home. what do you do, do you stick around and wait for her? isn't that lame? |

Look, I'm all for using normal situations to talk to women as I think your odds go up a ton when she doesn't feel like you're just there to hit on her. But if the line is moving so fast you don't even have one minute, then it's probably not the place to do this. If you have several minutes(like at Starbucks), you should probably see what she's doing right after she gets her drink(staying or leaving). If staying, suggest you sit together. If leaving, you know you have to hit a point of asking her on a date in a short period of time before she gets her drink and has to go. |

Sure it could be lame if you're insecure about it, but at that point.. what else do you have? If you're in that position, just go for it? Whats there to lose? I've seen saw a chick in her car at the red light that I found attractive and just walked over, motioned her to roll down the window and got the number right before the red light. That shit is lame and creepy as fuck if you think about it. But i was in the zone and I went for it. What was there to lose? Same predicament for you. Don't worry about looking lame. Rejection is an everyday thing - that shouldn't even be a problem. |

I agree with Eddie. You have to make you play when the time is right and you get the opportunity. Go for it...no matter where you are when you see her. You may never see her again. One tip for real fast encounter, tell her "You'll forget about me (in an hour, day, etc) If she's interested she say "No, I wont". "Ok, give me your number (taking out cell phone) and I'll text you (In an hour, day, etc)" Then text her "remember me?" "Do you know who this is?" Works like a charm |
