Messaged a girl because we met her and her friends the other night out. I got all of their numbers and texted the two that were into me (college, got to keep everyone happy). The one I was interested in said she noticed that her friend was into me and that she didn't want to be a bad friend. Sounds like a shit test. Need a response for it. |

Her friend sounds like a solid prospect. She clearly called dibs on you. Doesn't sound like a shit test to me. She's telling you to hit on her friend. |

She is an HB8 and her friend is a 5. Her friend asked me for my number. She said she would give me her number but* she didn't want to be a bad friend. She was definitely interested in me the other night but was genuinely being a good friend. Thats why I need a good response. |

Right. I'm saying it's not a shit test. She's giving you a clue. Will you be actual "friends" with these girls if you don't date one of them? I doubt it. What's to lose by simply telling her: "you're not being a bad friend. I'm sure X is a great girl but I'm more interested in getting to know you." That's probably what i'd do... |

Think how this phrase sounds to you, whether its you saying it out loud to the girl you want, or to yourself in your head: "Oh okay. Im not interested in your friend, but if you want to not give me your number because of your friend, I'll go along with that." Thats beta crap. Go for what you want. Tell the HB8 you arent interested in her friend. It would just be leading her on if you called her. If it is a shit test, you'll pass it. If its not, you'll know instantly and be in a better standing. The only way you lose here is by pursuing the woman you dont want, and simultaneously telling the woman you do want that you are okay with that. BETA. |

I've been in thiss situation several times.. Do not address it. Explain yourself and you lose. Just reply " come on, be serious lol.. What did you do after the party? " or whatever question you want to throw out there. Just brush it off and change the subject. She'll get the hint. |

Her friend likes you more than she does. They had the talk in the car and the less attractive friend gets you. Maybe look at that as a reflection of yourself... See what you can do to make yourself more attractive as a man to have natural chemistry with the more attractive girl. |
