This is a pretty exact question, I'm not sure what to do so want to see how people here think. So my friend who studies in another country is coming to visit me. But he is coming with another person who did not get along with me much. We never have actual conversation, we only meet briefly in night club but I know he disliked me because of some social circle gossip from his other friends. This was a year ago though, so I guess nothing to serious since we didnt really know each other. I have to take him around city. so my question: should I greet him on fb like "hey welcome to the US, how you enjoying it so far, lemme know if theres any particular place you want to visit?" This is something normal I would do to acquaintance or friend. I'm pretty friendly. But I'm not sure if doing so will make it seem like im low value and he will think i'm sucking him up. also consider, that i will have time taking him around city and show my true personality. Anyways, I want to be nice to this person cuz he has lots of female connections. Thanks you. |

since this guy's friends dont like me, i might already have low value in his perception, so by doing so will it makes my value go down even more? sometimes being nice, people perceive as neediness. the people i know that most people consider "cool" and try to get validation from are those that are not very nice and friendly to people. why |

If you are "low value" it will be perceived as low value. Otherwise it won't. It's all about intentions. Don't go out of your way to please just about anyone, that's it. |

Alpha male do whatever the fuck they want and dont question themselves. Do whatever it is you think you want to do and who cares, if you dont do it you wont achieve anything. Is not about how you come off to others, is about what you want to do, what you believe you are and what your goals are. If others mis interpret your intentions they can go fk themselves lol Assuming your a nice guy. Im not telling people to be a disconcerned asshole, be nice, but be alpha. Now that we are on the topic of value A man on his path shouldnt worry about value, because if your doing something with yourself it should be valueable in YOUR opinion. This whole lower value higher value bullshit is all a mental construct we have to fit into this bullshit society. Get rid of that. You were born the highest value. Dont forget that. Is kind of hard to grasp but is true once you wrap your head around it. |

Nice guy, good guy... It depends on the reason why you are being nice. "Nice guys", as they are called in the pickup community, are selfish persons who try to lick ass to get what they want. That is low value. If you on the other hand are nice due to generosity, without selfish intentions, it is quite the opposite very HIGH value! In your case I'd day you are about to lick ass because the dude has female connections. Don't go there. Just a little warning. |
