It's really easy to get rid of and honestly, it doesn't cause any major problems. (atleast not in guys.) I think it was either skills or sexaddict but someone wrote a pretty good post about STDs. Just go to the doctor, tell them what's up... they just give me a penicillin pill and say don't do it again. The only thing that sucks is the pill is really fucking nasty and I usually wind up throwing it up the first time I try and take it. They just give you another prescription and try again. Not a big deal man. You can still see the girl. Don't get all bent out of shape over something so simple.

Good thing you ONLY have chlamydia. Some guys have it worse with 2 or more STDs at the same time. One more thing, man or woman, chlamydia infection of the eyes can lead to blindness. The meds for the eyes will be different for the meds on the throat or penis.

Just get tested regularly. A year ago I began noticing a burning sensation every time I pissed and I just ignored it because I was ashamed/didn't want to make time to go to the doctor's. I couldn't tell you who I caught it from, I used to bang a new girl unprotected every week. I continued having unprotected sex with tons of new partners for two months until finally getting checked out and finding out I had chlamydia. I then had to have the conversation with a few girls who I gave it to, and I'm sure there were more I just didn't save everyone's phone number. It was crappy of me to do to them and myself. The good news is it really was just one pill, but ever since then I've had awful anxiety about catching another STD. I've been tested 5 times since then (every test came back negative) and now use protection 99% of the time (which sucks for the pleasure factor of course) but that's just how it is. Be thankful it's not herpes though. Imagine having that scarlet letter to have to address every time you wanted to pursue a new relationship.
