Hi, Can anyone offer me any advice please? I've been dating this HB8 for about 6 weeks. She is always really nice normally & fun, etc. Yesterday she had a high level sports match which she lost during the day & she was really disappointed about it. Anyway, we went out last night & she said she felt like drinking. Everything was fine until a few drinks in, when she seemed to change. I think she was pissed off that she lost her game and seemed like she wanted to start an argument. An example is she said she felt like smoking (she used to smoke) & asked if I'd like to have a smoke, I said no, but she could if she wanted, to which she replied 'I know I can you don't tell me what to do'. She was basically acting like a spoilt teenager. I considered the whole thing a shit test, stayed non-reactive and kept changing the subjects to lighten the mood. In the end I cut the night short a little walked her back to her flat. I was un-phased by it, but at the same time, it felt quite passive the way I dealt with it. My question is: 1) this felt very awkward, should I have called her out on these things and said 'are you in a bad mood, etc', or stayed non reactive as I did. She did text me last night but I haven't replied yet. 2) should i mention this today? Should I tell her she pissed my off? I could obviously do it in a serious or piss taking way. You can't reason with a drunk. Talk to her about it when she's sober. |

I second JackZero on this. If it was just bitchy little remarks and only this time, staying unphased is OK. If it is something that consistently repeats itself (that she always acts like a bitch when drunk), I would call her out on it next time she's sober, and pass to action if she does it AGAIN (e.g. cut the night short and drop her off at her house or even stand her up). |

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I definitely need to challenge her on this the next time if it happens. I'm going to read some threads about dealing with a girls bad behaviour, I've already read a lot about shit tests. Is there anything else you think I should look up in relation to this?
