Now I already have an experience with this. And I've also seen some of you say things like "Run as far and as fast as you can. Neither of you will ever be happy." But I want to see if anyone has any more insight on girls like this. I'm interested by the subject. I knew a girl who had diagnosed depression lasting 4 years and would self harm between the ages of 13-17. When I met her she was talking as if all that was in the past and she's feeling better and is learning to be happy now. Months into the relationship, she self harmed again..and began showing depressive symptoms. I even got cut off from sex because she was very much not in the mood. (for weeks). My theory: She explained her depression to me in "past tense" because #1 She didnt want to scare me off #2 She was truly feeling amazing and validated dating me so everything at the time seemed peachy (Im a guy she found very attractive for a while) #3 Symptoms began to resurface after a few months because my novelty wore off All information leads me to believe her depression isn't quite over with as she explained when I first met her. Come to think of it, how COULD it be? She's had it for years in the past and was hospitalized for suicide attempts. What are your experiences dating girls like this? By the information given above, what do you expect from this woman? |

there is a lot of overdiagnosis out there but in this case it sounds legit. I would move on. |

Alright alright felt to pique my curiousity on the post. Felt lke givin all da VALUE TODAY on this forum. So let me rephrase this question in a simple short n sweet versus novel you wrote in spite to find a one right answer..maybe, but, there is actual answer you'll lke. Truth is tht girls tht are lke tht are toxic. The type tht gets you needy , submissive n off your path to be the best attractive man u can be guessing why u joined the form also learning how to attract n seduce women. Thts my short sweet peace a' mind. |

Hahah Charles, no. I'm not with her and have not spoken a word to her. I posted this because this situation was obviously one that caused me grief for a couple months and I want to examine it relentlessly to make sure similar mistakes or paths are NEVER made again. Don't you worry she's so far in my rear view I can barely see her. Dasmooth from what I was able to understand from your writing, you're absolutely right. This girl made me the complete opposite of how I was when I first met her. Started off lika boss, seriously. Was everything these forums (and the books iv read) taught me to be. Her too, god she was validating. She would write me texts in the morning like "have an amazing day and I want you to know you have the most incredible smile and I'm so attracted to you". Then after 3 months, when someones true self tends to come out, all her shit was poured out. Like a switch. Made me lose my shit too. |
