| Post subject: | Monotone Voice |
It's been a while since I've posted on here because I've been too busy with school to really focus on my game. I'm making this post though because I want to improve my voice though, since I think it's really killing my game. Besides that I would also like to audition for a play at school since I've always loved acting and it could be used for DHV. However, I know that unless I improve my voice first that won't happen. My voice is too monotone so if anyone else has had a problem like this, it would be a huge help if you could post anything related to it. I have been working on speaking through my diaphragm, but I think I'll need to do more than just that. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HGLs7kXWJNY Learn how to vary your pitch and volume level. As well as word length and pauses. You can speak like I came here today to tell everyone about the recent lawn gnome problem. They are everywhere in our neighborhood and I think it's a disgrace. Or, you mix up the length of words an emphasis: I came here today, to tell everyone about the recent lawn gnome problem. They are everywhere in OUR neighborrhood and I think it's a disgrace. |
