Post subject:  Need help getting this girl to be my girlfriend
So, there's this girl that hangs out with my group of friends a lot and I want to start dating her. We are both in high school and we see each other around on the weekends a lot. The problem is, we dont talk that much. I would say we are acquaintances but we party or everyone is joking around so I dont really have time to make serious conversation like I would like to. Like I have a hard time finding a way of showing my interest. Im not sure why this is difficult for me either. When I go out to pick up girls at parties its easy but this girl doesn't want to hook up with people or anything because she thinks anyone she hooks up with is just using her and they wont stay. She wants a relationship and so do I. Anyway, does anyone have any tips? For some reason I have a hard time talking to her or finding the right time. Any tips for isolation? How to show my interest? Get her interested in me? I have been getting nervous lately because I want to move quick before anyone else can. This is really important to me so anything you guys have to offer is tremendously appreciated.

You have a hard time talking to her because you like her and are putting her on a pedestal. She gives you the jitters. It's not totally a bad thing, it can be viewed in a good light. Only thing I can say is while you get the courage for this one girl get some other girls going as well. Might help ease up unnecessary pressure you are putting on yourself. And moving in quick before anyone else sounds like desperation on your part. Things don't just happen like that. Probably need to check yourself internally before making moves. For now, start talking to her...get on her radar. Ease into it... :wink:

You don't.

You find a girl who you like, who also likes you!

Just because she wants a boyfriend, does not mean she wants just anyone as her boyfriend. If she's not very interested in talking to you, it's because she's just not that into you. Find a different girl to date.
