Hey pals,

This is my first post on here (I've spent a bit of time looking for something similar to what I'm about to write but I haven't found anything just yet, so apologies if I'm opening up a previously covered topic!)

So there's this girl I've been set up with by my lil sis (go sis!) who is in training to be a doctor, conversation has been ok to date (purely SPAM, I realised she didn't like that on the date lol) then we went for drinks about a week ago. Drinks went well, conversation flowed and it was generally a nice time getting to know her, I got good vibes back. No kiss close, wanted to wait for the second date (seem gentlemanly and that).

Now since then, a series of drink related events (Nye)+an unfortunate stomach bug meant that second date had to be postponed until she came back from uni, which is roughly 150 miles away. To be totally honest I didn't think she'd have time for a relationship as she's going to be hella stressed from now till when she graduates. So I think subconsciously, I already crossed it off and it showed in my texts.

So I got friendzoned. She says we get along, but there's no spark. While that's what I want right now, what's the best way to tell her that a relationship isn't what she wants right now and that we should definitely pick it up on her return? This is wife level btw, smoking hot, brains and funny.

(FYI-I'm a good looking bloke, short, but still pull in the numbers, I've got a few more girls at the same time that I'm just having physical relationships with, so I'm not desperate but I'm more than happy to put those away and focus on this one if she agrees to pick it up at a later date.)

Cheers in advance!

You think "gentlemen." She thinks "pussy" or "fag."

You screwed that one up lol keep her around as a friend. She's probably got friends who are like her that she can get you in good with.
