Girl at my gym, she used to be chubby and has since slimmed down (she doesn't know I'm aware of this) to a solid 8 looks-wise. She avoids eye contact and proximity as if I were the grim reaper, but I still managed to chat her up and get her number. When I asked for her number, she clammed up for a second and said "Um... okay." However, she had anime eyes and her pupils literally dilated right before my face. She has also yet to accept a FB friend request (3 weeks old).

I got the feeling she wasn't feeling it so then I recalled the offer and wrote her off, then she came back and said "well make it work"... ugh! Confusing. I have yet to respond, any thoughts?

It's weird.

I think you had her interest until it became real... And you started talking about dates and bringing friends.

Two negatives:

1) the tag along friend... Makes it sort of a friendly thing instead of a date.
2) I don't buy that she can't make time for a guy she would want to see... If she were really interested she would.

Back burner. Find another. She'll hit you up if she's interested.

Personally I'm not in the suggest a day for date camp, especially with a girl you haven't slept with. I think it's asking for the vibe to get killed if the girl isn't free on that day. I prefer to ask what nights/days are you free, instead of let's meet X day. Overall, it sounds like a weak numberclose and not so solid text game. Doesn't seem like she's interested.

Maybe she wants to get her hair done before the meetup? She could have self esteem issues but yeah I'll put her on the back burner.

Same shit happened to me a bunch of times.

I think the text messaging was going great until you sort of sounded desperate (I don't mean that in a mean way just how she might view it).

Things were going great until you asked her when she was free and then kept trying to find new days to appease her after she turned each one down. I think just telling her a date and time is best - she'll let you know if it doesn't work.

Also - cause I posed a similar question a while back - a member suggested I didn't create enough rapport.

Lastly - it's so hard to do but try not to text a 2nd message until she responds to the first one you send. And never respond the same day - always the next day. Unless it's the weekend - then Sunday or Monday is your best bet. And, if she doesn't respond to you for a few days - then reciprocate that and don't respond for a few days yourself.

Basically - you're busy and have important shit to do. You're not at her beck and call (you're not trying to please her). This is when you're free - this is the date and time we're meeting.
