DO GIRLS LIKE A TRYER? Once I approached twins in a club in Bournemouth and I was mixing my words and ended up looking like an idiot! HOWEVER, I got the impression that they were IMPRESSED with the fact that I TRIED to chat them both up at once. Still today, I believe they were willing me to push it and continue the advance and would happily accommodate my every need. I lost heart. Failed in confidence. I walked away ashamed of my opener. Any guys here had similar experiences? |

Openers barely matter, provided it's even remotely normal(IE don't throw up on her). Especially in a club, a girl usually doesn't even really HEAR your opener. It's pretty much pure body language(which includes facial expression). And really, pretty much the entire early interaction has almost nothing to do with anything you talk about. It's purely a looks/type/vibe thing. If she thinks you're cute, you are giving off an interesting vibe, you're basically good, provided you're somewhat normal. Yes, awesomely tight "verbal game" can help. Especially deeper into the interaction. But it's not needed. You can have a lot of success, while doing very little on the verbal front. The reason the girls were into you, was not that you were "trying hard". It was that they liked your look. You seemed like someone they would be interested in getting to know better. And you're right, they would have been receptive to you continuing. Because what you say is only a small portion of the total interaction. Being smooth is nice, but it's not needed. |

Stop trying so hard. You're trying to find this perfect opener. Your opener isn't going to get you laid. Just be real with the girl and she'll respect that even more. She's gonna see who you are anyways. Might as well be honest from the start. |

Don't take yourself down so much, if you feel like you fucked up, then you did! Try preparing a bit more before going out next time with your openers. Confidence won't just get to you. Trying this or that thing when sarging will just show you what suits you better and ultimately you'll show girls that you are gongruent with what you say... Keep up the good work man! |
