in some situations, 2 people's eyes are forced to meet for no reason. for example imagine a girl is coming out of a store. you are passing by on the sidewalk in a perpendicular direction. so if the girl is headed south while coming out of the store, you are headed east. so at first you are far away from the store. you are walking, walking, walking, you get closer to the store. as you pass by the store, you turn your head and look at the store. the girl that was coming out of the store will inevitably look at you. this happens to me a lot and most of the time, I think it doesn't mean anything. I mean it happens naturally, she has no other option, where else would she look? But the most recent one, the girl locked eyes, it was intense. I was thinking "IOI or coincidence?" but by that time it was too late and she was gone. ya ya I know you have to treat everything as an IOI, but how do you tell the difference between IOI and coincidence? |

It's your reality. Treat it as an indicator of interest and approach. Hell, even if it's coincidence, approach.this happens to me a lot and most of the time, I think it doesn't mean anything. Most of your questions would be answered if you actually approached. Why does it matter what she is conveying to you, if you aren't going to approach anyway? The harsh truth is, you sound like you are seeking validation, instead of doing (what you perceive to be) the difficult thing to do. Approach brother! |

I agree with him. If you just assume it's nothing all the time, you won't be accomplishing anything and be in the same spot as now...especially if it actually IS an IOI. If you just go ahead and assume it's an IOI and go make an Approach, what do you have to lose? Woops, it's not an IOI oh well on with my day. |

Next time you get eye contact, smile or if that's too much, do an eyebrow flash. Does she react well, or aloof? There's your answer of interest. You've yet to say if you have any female friends and I've asked this about 5 times. |

Just assume locked eye contact means "say hi to me" |
