...repercussions?

I am new to university and between me and other students there is an average age gap of 8 years. In my country the legal age of consent is 14 and most are 19.

Even though I stayed young internally and externally and take care of myself lookswise - I am doing sports, eating healthy - when talking to women in university I feel like a creep just because I am older.

When I meet women outside of university and I feel like it, I just kiss them and no girl has ever complained about that.

But when in university, I think: okay, I am older, she is younger, if she doesn't want anything, she cannot defend herself against me and if I kiss her and she is not having it, going to university the next days is like running the gauntlet.

On the flipside, having this mentality, every conversation becomes totally awkward because I try to hide my attraction, not kiss her and it freaks them out.

What can I do?

So you're 27? I'm just about to turn 29. The two girls I'm seeing are 20 and 21. The very interesting one I just met a few days ago and will be seeing later in the week, turned 18 last month. They are all three in college(though the 18 year old is dual enrolled in high school :D).

Hellhound is over 40 and the last chick I remember him mentioning was in her teens.

So basically, go for it :)

Okay, that solves the "I am too old" thing but it doesn't solve the "if I kiss her and she is not having it, going to university the next days is like running the gauntlet."

I mean, what are we talking about here?
Do you just randomly grab women and kiss them?

If so, then just make sure in the future, that you lock eye contact, move slowly for the kiss. Then if she's not up for it, she can just turn a cheek or even pull her back(which I've had happen only a few times in my entire life).

I meet a woman in a lecture of mine. I like her. She is attracted, tries to reinitiate any conversation with the most outrageous topics. We walk out of the class room and university to our bikes. We ride our bikes together. All while talking and me touching her more and more intimately.

With a girl not from university, nowadays I would just go for the kiss.

If it doesn't work and she's pissed, I will never see her again. Or she will take revenge for whatever reason, she has no clue who I am and never finds me.

But this girl I will see each time in the lecture.

So in my mind, it has to be perfect and that makes me insecure and I accomplish exactly what I want to avoid.

It seems to me, not going for something that feels natural and right, makes everything feel a lot more awkward than if you follow the mood, and things eventually fizzle out.

If you would kiss a girl normally, you can go to kiss a girl you go to university with.

It will generally only be as awkward as you let it be afterwards. If you act super offended, then yes it will be awkward. If you laugh it off and go hit on other girls, it will be fine. If anything, she will wonder why you stopped trying.

And yes, you can date far younger. My ideal age is frequently 19-21.
