Maintaining your frame is crucial to game, as we all know.
I generally wear a hat at work, but yesterday I walk in without one. HB1 says hello, and asks "where is your hair?" Everyone around starts to laugh, seemingly a lot more at her, than at me. I give her a weird, sarcastic look. She laughs for a while, embarrassed, and apologizes. I respond with "I really don't give a shit (laughs) hair's for losers" or something along those lines, with my frame strait up, smiling, confident, and moving forward with my shift. Later on, HB2, who was present earlier on, typically a very shy introverted girl, begins to warm up to me a lot more than she usually ever does with me, or anyone else at work. We chat and joke the rest of the shift.

There's my story. Now my question, is for anyone also dealing with thinning/losing hair, we all know we can get lost for words, in the moment, when put on the spot. Does anybody have some solid, specific, widely successful responses/comebacks for shit tests on hair?

Be nice to start a thread.

I've been balding since high school and shaved head for 5 years now.

I've never felt the need for a specific response. I can count the number of bald jokes I've heard on one hand over the years. It's just not important IMO. Girls love it in general. Sometimes I'll mention that balding is caused by high testosterone and joke around with that, but it's just for fun.

I buzz mine to a 5 day growth, as well as my beard (Dark hair/white burns and beard)

Women always want to rub/pat it.

When I wear a hat, it's a fedora.

Lol its work... You don't need a smart response. People joke around at work and it doesn't sound like she was clowning you. Just be normal, laugh too and continue on. Not everything is someone trying to mess with you.

Its not what you say its how you say it. So it doesn't matter what your response is to the insult; its all in the state you are in when the comment is made to you.

Develop more resilience and less canned openers. Because if such a comment doesn't affect you it will not matter how you respond to it. People will gravitate to you because they aren't able to shake or rattle you.
