I've met a HB9 through a mutual male friend who may or may not also fancy her. I got her number on the bus under the idea that we do our shopping together a bit later.

I was thinking of trying to build a bit of comfort whilst doing so and then trying organise meeting her for a drink after I finish in the gym a bit later.

I'm trying hard to prevent myself getting oneitis with this girl. Our mutual friends is best friends with her a university so although I thought perhaps I should mention it to him first I though as nothing has yet happened I have no need to.

So far all I was gonna do was text her "I think it kinda works you saving me a place in the queue every morning..."

All help is appreciated.

I can't help you with what you need text this chick. I'm just starting out as well seduction.
But I do have one question ?

Why are you talking about one -itis when you just have her phone number ?
You haven't k-closed/F-closed her didn't you.....
You didn't even text her yet.

You creating this thread makes it really obvious that you already can't get her out of your mind.
In my book...thats the start of some serious DLV and AFC behavior to come.

This is for all guys who find themselves in situations.


Stop trying to sneak in with attractive women. Stop trying to find a back passage way that won't set off the alarms. When you want a girl you properly and confidently knock on the front door and ask her if you can borrow some sugar. You don't climb through a back window and then make yourself at home.

It seems like you got the number under the guise that you are only interested in being friends while in the back of your mind you are hoping you can turn things into something more. You're working harder than you have to; and making it easy for you to get confused along the way.

There has never been a girl that I slept with sober that didn't know i liked them right from the moment I met them. They find it charming and endearing; especially since its clear that I am of a higher value than they are.

Calling a girl a 9 in the fashion that you did is instantly signaling to yourself that she is on a pedestal. If she's a 9 what does that make you? In your mind you have to be a 10,000,000. Hell, I know that I'm a ten million.. If not more.

Call her up man. Call her phone and talk to her; flirt with her and then ask her to meet up the next day. And if its not successful because of your lacking of experience you will have gained knowledge and experience to make it easier in the future.

Lol you got her number under the pretext of going shoppin? Nothing wrong with that but I hope you also flirted a bit, otherwise thats just gay. Anyway, proceed with the plans, flirt, have fun, close. Good luck :)

Oh and if you want to prevent onitis is simple : have a life, keep in mind you can meet more girls, stay cool.
the biggest problem with onitis is that guys get fixated in one girl and over analyze everything which in turn completely turns the girl off, often times through needy behavior.

Just play it cool, always give a little more than her to move things forward but never over do it. Keep a balance in the interaction and always be ready to let go, that keeps em chasing.

Bottom line: just dont be a bitch

and heres a question you can always ask yourself in times of stress

what would a real cool guy do?
(Helps to have role models)

and proceed.

I was talking to her on fb and ended it by saying "

I've gotta get some sleep, I'm at the gym for 9. Let's get a coffee sometime next week tho"

She replied

"Yeahh let me know when"

Then in the morning I had a message from her saying
"Sorrry that was my friend"

I was gonna respond something like
"Someone needs to teach your friend how to frape..."

Or "you're still buying me a coffee"

Any advice on how to respond?

lol my response would be "Haha you're friend has the right idea ;)"

But the problem here isnt what the best response is bro, the problem here is the bigger picture.

In this situation you can keep persisting until is clear she is not interested, i useually try to make plans with girls 2ice and if the excuses seem real then ill try a 3rd befor moving on.

In life you live and you learn

This applies big to becoming a ladies man.

For now just play it cool thats the best advice i could give you, no gimmicks or bullshit, be fun, and i don't mean with just her, build a life so attractive that every girl will want to chase you. :)
