Post subject:  First Date mistake, Recover or pass?

Had a date with a girl a few days ago,

Took her to see a film and then lunch which went pretty well considering we don't really know each other that well,

The problem lies in the fact that after everything went fine in the literal last 30 seconds of seeing her there was this really awkward moment where, when you would normally give your date a hug or light kiss i kinda just.... stood there like dumbass. All up lasted about 30 seconds followed by her commenting that it was awkward and then we said our goodbyes.

I'm wondering if i've pretty much blown my chance or if there's still time to pick this one up or just move on.

She was waiting for the kiss, obviously.

Nothing to lose by asking her out again, if you liked her. You can even say something like:

"Hey I thought you were really fun. We should do something Thursday (or whatever day)... Preferably something casual where I'm not anxious as fuck, like I was last time"

Or don't mention it at all and just simply ask... I don't know you or that girl... so you should ask in a way that YOU would normally ask and that she'd be most receptive to.

Don't miss your opportunity this time, if she says yes.

I mean.. If you know how to make light of a situation you always have a shot. A fuck up can only be solidified as a fuck up if you don't recover from it. You always get one more shot. Sometimes it's not so much about what you do as it is about what you do IMMEDIATELY after.

If you're smooth dude you should be fine. I don't see why you can just call her and make a joke about it. Or why you couldn't text her right after with a kiss emoji that said " I screwed that up! Heres the kiss I meant to give ya :*(kiss emoji) "

Or anything. Whatever is congruent with you personality. But if you guys had a great time, I'm sure she'll want to give it another shot. Its not like there are a bunch of guys as amazing as YOU walking around out there. Its holiday season and these girls are looking for someone to exchange gifts with.

Don't be so hard on yourself. For whatever reason guys think women are perfect and aren't beating themselves up about there fuck ups during a date. She probably feels worse than you man. She probably feels like she gave a weak ass hint.

She ain't pointing fingers.. trust me. Girls care more about what you think of them than they do about what they think of you.

Just call her.
