Early on, no. Other than what kind of movies you both like, you learn virtually nothing about each other sitting through a two hour film together, and besides that, there is nothing creative or intriguing about a date literally any other man could take her on. Think a little further outside the box. |

Agreed with 870. Taking a girl to the movies is not really a date, you will end up almost no closer to each other after 2.5 hours than you were before. Whereas after 2.5 hours of a drinks at a nice place you can end up pretty close (if you like each other). Also opportunities for kino are small and that makes the whole thing almost useless. You don't need to go nuts on kino like you might see some people say, but a measured amount of kino is crucial (!). Good luck with caressing hands mutually over any kind of movie, even some chick flick or something. To be honest I've never actually done a movie date. Just the thought of it makes me bored. |

NO! Either take her your place, either go somewhere where u can do together both. Play darts, pool, some sport, something YOU enjoy. This crease cool vibe and predisposes you both doing something competitive and you can do a bet if you win or she wins who is going to do what. Movies is waaaay too common. Every other guy does this and you want to stand out from the crowd. |

It's fine if you're maybe a bit introverted yet are comfortable with initiating massive kino into a kiss in the theater. I once hooked a girl into a ltr in my afc days with this exact approach. but yeah in the main scope of things listen to the blokes above and avoid movie dates with girls you haven't had sex with yet. |

Movie on the sofa at home - WAY better. Unless you've already been out a few times. During the 'get to know you' phase, movies aren't wonderful, no. Tough to escalate in public, and it's not like you can chat all the way through it. |
