I had never been to a club until yesterday. I guess I am a boring guy. here is my opinion: club sucks. I dont know if this is normal for a club but here is how this one was set up. when you entered, it was completely dark. there were lights coming in and out sometimes, but not enough to see anything. you cant see other people's faces. you cant see where you are going. you cant see anything. there is someone up on the stage playing music. the music is very loud. so loud that you cant talk to anyone. they wont hear you. the floor where people dance is very very very crowded. as in when people are dancing around you they will definitely definitely be touching you. I felt violated.You will also have the opportunity to touch other people, but the problem is you dont know if you just touched a woman's ass or a man's ass because it's so damn dark. And then you have the asshole securities touching you to get you to move. you could try saying "dont touch me, bro." but the problem is they won't hear you because the music is so damn loud. the people: a bunch of crazy, drunk people that would have no problem starting trouble. I felt my life was in danger. imagine a girl telling his drunk boyfriend "this guy just bumped into me inappropriately." "But the girls are hot!!" true, some girls were hot. but I am not attracted to drunk girls. tell me, what's the point of going to a dark room where you might fall because it's so damn dark, and listen to ear-damagingly loud music, and dance in a very very very crowded place where you will be touched against your will, and possibly punched in the face, and pay $$ for all this? even if they paid ME I would not go. |

Could just be the club you went to. There are certainly clubs better than that, with less loud music. It can be a lot of fun though too. As someone who has done 90% of his pick up in clubs, I see your point. I am actually trying to develop stronger daygame so I don't have to put in all the extra energy that clubbing requires. |

Its all perspective bro. I'm sure no one else viewed the club that way but you. Instead of living in fear, in my head and letting my thoughts rule my life I would of jumped in and made the most of it. Its like starring into a swimming pool observing the water; complaining about every little spec of dirt you see within it while theirs people swimming having a good time. Your thoughts of you being a boring guy is true, but its only true because you think that way and because you think that way you act like it. I prefer to dive in and get the full experience before I make a judgment. You went to the club, but you didn't go clubbing. Its like people watching basketball from the stands, talking about how ridiculous basketball is. You have to actually play the game before you can judge it. Theres girls at the club that don't drink, and theres cool guys who probably feel similar to you. Find them. Thats just my take. |

I have spent a lot of time in clubs and bars (not all that time was spent "sarging") but much prefer daygame for the reasons you state and much more. I prefer the variety of types of women that can be brought into your life through meeting them during the day (or at night in places other than nightclubs).

I don't mean to say clubs are the shit and they are by far not the only place to pick up women (and probably not even the best one for many PUAs out there)... Do you even lift bro? The fact that you have posted on this forum nearly 500 times and never been to a club shows you are far too sheltered and timid to be good with women. Go with a posse of bros next time so you're not as scared. And start lifting. Testosterone (the natural type) is attractive. That's why 'no fap' works for guys addicted to porn. Clubs are loud. You don't go there to have a conversation. You go there to make laser eye contact with a girl, pull her towards you, get her grinding up against your crotch before kissing her and pulling her home to fuck her brains out. If you don't like the club scene then don't go but if you've never really experienced it or given it a chance then you should for a bit. Try to absorb the immense amount of energy inside there and go with it and have fun. If after a dozen times you still don't like it then try a less chaotic venue. |

I've only been to two clubs that were so dark I couldn't really see anything. But in either case... if you don't like touching strangers, you shouldn't be going to any club. Yes, you're going to be touched a LOT. Everywhere. By men, women, furries(if you go to raves). Most clubs have fairly loud music. Most clubs are primarily about dancing. I agree with Hunter. Hit the gym, work on hobbies. I don't suggest daygame unless you already have some female friends and can have normal interactions with them. There's no point in trying to go on dates when you need to learn basic social interactions first. There's not much point in hitting on a hundred random women to get three dates and no lays or second dates because you can't hold a simple, normal conversation. So my suggestions are 1. Hit the gym(strength train) 2. Join some type of group and make female friends. Non-fat ones preferred(don't even try to date them, unless one is clearly REALLY into you). |
