At the end of a night out, I went into a chip shop and got a girls number, I was actually extremely drunk and the next morning would of though I dreamt it until I saw her number in my phone. So anyway we have been texting and in my opinion its gone better then I hoped, Lots of flirting, Dirty talk, her saying good things about me etc. It got to the stage where It was time to ask her out, And lo and behold she mentioned that I said on the night we met, I was going to take her out. So I asked her and she said "can I think about it?" She has been single for a year apparently but says she wants to take things slow. I didnt want to push it so talked for the next day or too, and then it was still going so well, I asked her again a slightly differant way and still got the same response. Any advice? Normally I would think she just isnt interested and perhaps this is the case, But she texts me so much and we have a real connection (I sound soppy writing that). |

The more you text the more you will push her away Let her be, if she likes you she will get back to you. Find more girls meanwhile |

She says "I want to take things slow. Can I think about it?" You say "Ha, no need to get caught up in it. It's just a date, nothing serious about grabbing a few drinks and talking." Take all the pressure off the meeting and pass it off as if it's not a big deal and totally fine. No pressure + interest = You've got yourself a date, son. |

I don't get it, is that a rhetorical question? Can you just say "No, I need an answer now." or the inverse "Yes, please let me know by Friday what you think." I'm of the opinion that girls are routing for you, and all the BS shit tests and backwards talk and excuses are really just a way of covertly pointing out to you that you have failed in one or more areas of your game. You need to read between the lines here. Sounds like to me you have rapport and attraction but you are missing out on establishing comfort. She's basically saying "Hey, I'm attracted to you and I think we get along ok, but I'm not sure I can really trust you yet....Please prove that you are someone I can trust." And she does all of that just by saying "Can I think about it?" |

thank you everyone, we have a date next week. I got the impression she just wanted to get to know me more before committing to meeting me |
