Hey guys I been doing an experiment lately with 2-3 girls. I set up dates 1 day in advanced or same night after meeting them for the first time. There was strong attraction but they flaked due to logistics.

I'm looking to contact them again and set up a date 2-3 days in advance like I normally do.
Although, in our text log - my text was the last to show up so I don't want to blow up there phones or chase.
I usually text on the day of the date, "Hey just to late you know, I'll be 5 mins late. I have a meeting. Terribly sorry. How's 7:30?" They didn't respond, so I know they weren't coming.

So basically once they flake on you how many days should I wait to text back and what should I text?

If you text THAT... and they don't reply at all, I wouldn't contact them again - ever. That's just rude. That's not even a flake. That's being stood up.

Charles, I totally agree. Although in these cases I didn't spend much time with them and gave them very little time to prepare. Trying to see it objectively. Either way, in a situation like this, what's the proper move.

Well, with my previous comment in mind (I still wouldn't contact them again - regardless of the prep-time... if they agreed to go, then they agreed to go) - I would likely give it a day... and then text or call and say something to the effect of: "Too bad we couldn't sync up yesterday/the other day. I was really looking forward to chatting with you and getting to know you better. Rain check? How's Wednesday at 5 looking for you?" If they flaked once though, they'll likely flake again unless you build some attachment first and get them at least partially invested in you. You'd have pretty much had to do that when you met them, unfortunately.

Legit. So this situation/experiment aside, the common protocol is to just wait a day and say, "Too bad we couldn't meet up, etc" then offer another time? Btw, any good posts/links you'd recommend me reading about this.

Your text the day of the date is solid. IN general, I never call out a girl who flakes, I just reconnect a few days later as if nothing happened.

If your looking for a good read on text game and deal with situations like this try, "The Ultimate Guide to Text and Phone game". They cover many different scenarios and how to handle them; ones similar to yours. I'd send a very low investment humorous text in 2 days and see if you get a response. If nothing then I'd recommend to move on. !!Last resort!! Final option would be to wait about 2 week then send this text message, "The tickets are for 9, did we say dinner at 7 or 7:30". Essentially, you make yourself appear you have other women in your life and you've mistaken her for another by accident. This displays social proof and she'll think you have many women. When and if she replies just say, "woops wrong person" and begin engaging in dialogue with her. The point is you got her attention and can work something from there. I learned this from Paul Janka.
