| Post subject: | a quick question |
so there is a girl that works in the McDonalds near my work where i go to get coffee. today when i was there we started talking and she gave me her car to get her oil change and said she will come pick it up after work. when she came to pick up her car we starting taking. the other guy that was working with me joined the conversation. and then I had to go to the back to do something and by the time i got back she had left and the other guy took her number. I feel that he's a real d*ck for doing that because the only reason she came there and stayed was because she knew me. the next time i am at that mcdonals i want to ask her for her number but do you guys think that it would be weird because she already gave it to my co-worker. should i let it go and let him have her. P.S during our conversation my this guy made it sound like we were best buddies. I am relived when i leave work that i don't have to see this guy till my next shift. |

We'll assume you work at a garage? Your mistake there was not number closing when you had to leave to do some work. This dick has taken your open, butted in, taken the lead and then screwed you over. Don't bring up with her the fact you know he has her number. Definitely don't be offended that she gave it to him. Walk in, apologise that you had to leave to do some work, AMOG this other douche then ask for her number because you missed the chance the other day. |

Continuing on Ardour's post. When you ask for her number, I hope you don't just ask her "can I have your number?". I trust that you are smooth enough to say something that justifies her giving it to you, like inviting her to some party, or propose a date or something. |

Why does he need justification? He thinks she's attractive and he intends to move things forward. She should be justifying to him as to whether he should use the number when he gets it or not. And to the OP You snooze you love bro. Back in the day I remember when I would stare girls down trying to build up courage to speak, but by time I did they would have already gotten swooped up by another guy. Act now. Nice guys always finish last. |
