How do you think girls end up with ugly men? As a standard attractive women usually date attractive men. But i've seen many of men that society would label as ugly and poorly dressed with beautiful women.

I gotta disagree. Maybe it's semantics but i don't understand when things are said to be a non issue. Sure, if you're black (I'll use that as an example because I don't know your race) and you want asian girls, you can still find asian girls into black guys and be good. So in the bigger picture it's a non issue. But some asian girls are going to instantly disqualify you because you're black. So it is in issue.

Cold approach is a far different ball game than how regular dating goes. There is a slimmer margin for error and compromises. Most people meet their gf/wife through social circle, work, school. Online dating is rising but strangers meeting and beginning romantic relationships is a small part of dating SPAM. So the ugly guy who works with a hot chick and is able to build attraction over weeks through his personality and status, has a much easier time that the ugly guy approaching that same hot chick at the bar in which she has to make a split second decision. Years ago, a friend and I would ask mismatched couples (ugly guy/hot girl) how they met. Out of many couples, none said "he approached me at a bar, or at x event." It was always we worked together or were friends for some time before.

The "looks/race/height doesn't matter philosophy" was related to old school MM pickup in which you CAN build attraction before making her decide whether she likes you. It is not compatible with today's "direct game" where she has to decide right away whether she likes you enough to possibly start a romantic interaction with you. My 2 cents
