Hey mate I was in a similar situation only difference was it was conflicting schedules I tried a couple times to set something up, but we couldn't make it work I thought if I keep doing this I'm gonna come off as a try hard. Just my opinion, but I think you may be coming across that way.

Here's my breakdown for you you've asked her out no dice. Maybe legit, but it sounds like there's not enough comfort built. Right now before you try to set up another date you need to put that work in to build rapport/comfort. CALL her! Focus on having a strong comfort building convo don't bring up going out until that comfort is built. If she doesn't answer send a short text, but keep the power say hey I just got tired of texting all the time thought I'd give you a call instead. You must be out I'll give you a call tomorrow night.

After a couple strong convos you'll greatly decrease the odds of her flaking before I realized the power in a phone call I used text for everything and had flakes now that I call maybe 1 in 20 dates flakes, but even then they usually offer a different date. Sooner you realize the power in a phone call the better. I know a lot of girls don't like talking and would rather text, but if you're good on the phone they'll soon be craving a phone call from you and chasing you.

I've been flirting with a HB8 the past month and we went to London once but never kissed it anything - mostly as she knew about two other girls I was gaming. We arranged to go out for a drink a week later and she flaked although with good reason - her best friend had just been dumped. We went to a festival in a large group and we didn't get together although she sat on my lap and I strokes the inside of her thighs etc I phoned her a few days later telling her to go to Brighton with me the next day but she said no and I tried to arrange a drink a few days later and she said she'd text me, but naturally didn't. A week and a bit later I'm wondering how to actually arrange a sucsessful date with this girl. She seems to prefer texting to me phoning her. How should I first text her out of the blue? I feel I should say something funny but not contrived. She keeps putting on her snapchat story that she's gone back to the gym and I'm into bodybuilding so thought I could say something about that but fuck knows. Any help guys is appreciated.

You're really overcomplicating this... You should call her, first - even if you're saying you think she prefers text. Second, if you have to text, just say "so about that drink... I'm heading out tonight (or tomorrow or whenever) to X place at X time... why don't you join me?" It's easy. Just keep it natural and not overcomplicated.
