I dont complement because I in my mind I say "why would she care what I think?" this isn't specifically about pick up. there is an old woman living down the street. today she told me she is a tailor and she made the dress she was wearing. I didn't complement how good it looks because "my opinion doesn't matter." why should I complement a girl? why would she care what I think? |

she was looking for a compliment you basically told the old woman it sucked and wasnt even worth mentioning by not saying anything, people dont show you things unless they are proud of their work, she was searching for an opinion. otherwise she would not have even mentioned it. |

I don't compliment because I mostly don't give a shit about what that person is showing me and I suck at lying. Whenever I try to compliment just to be nice I think people can sense that they are just words and not what I think. How do I change this attitude? |

You don't. As stated, only genuine compliments. Anyone can tell a forced compliment. If there is nothing to compliment on, just open another way like introducing yourself.
