So I've been trying out pof and I sent this girl a few messages she did message me back saying "I'm sorry I don't think we are a match but I wish you the best
! " I'm not sure how to respondany advice?

That means she isn't interested. Trying to persuade her or asking why she doesn't find you attractive generally won't work and will only lower your value in her eyes. That being said... If you DO want to respond, write something like this (I actually did something like this on OkCupid yesterday, but after hearing the girl's response, agreed with her judgment call): "I'm huge on self improvement and I always love hearing about what in particular what makes you think that - in case it's something I might want to improve. Don't worry, I'm not going to try to persuade you or anything, I'm just curious for my own improvement." If you do this and you're polite (not needy or defensive), the girl will usually respond. At that point, if it's a genuine issue and you're not willing to change it (for yourself, NOT for her), then tell her thanks for her feedback, and drop her (which is what I ended up doing - she wasn't into dominance/ambition/aggression and I don't intend to change/curtail that). If, on the other hand, you don't see it as an actual issue/she's wrong, tease her and be like, "You thought that?!?!?!?!? You're ridiculous. I'm actually blah blah blah [pointing out how you're NOT the way she thinks - but only if you are, you know, actually not]" |

! " I'm not sure how to respondany advice? Theres always a way around these things man, but I don't think its a good idea for you to get hung up on a girl from an online dating site.. Trust me when I say; they are never what they appear.. And the types of girls that say " i don't think we're a match" as apposed to just "ignoring" you aren't the types of girls that you'll enjoy spending time with. She's obviously luring you into a game; and/or luring you into giving her more attention.. Surely she doesn't write that to every guy who she isn't interested in. I'd advise you to not even bother.. Its online dating. |
