I wanted to ask if you guys change up your approach if you see a cute chick at work. She either just got hired, is there on business, who knows?

I think it's probably common sense that you may not want to go direct because you may get reported to HR, but then again, if all pick up was common sense, I wouldn't be posting/asking questions here.

Anyway, I'm pretty pissed at myself right now because I bitched out on approaching an HB just a while ago (I struggle with AA). I already had a non-threatening/non-flirtatious question in mind I wanted to ask her and would eventually expand into more. Here's what I had in mind:

"Hey, didn't you work at X yada yada?" (I genuinely thought I recognized her, but it didn't matter to me). She probably would have answered "No", and then I was going to introduce myself and so forth.

What do you guys think?

It's fine. Openers barely matter, provided it's something that allows you to move forward.
No, you don't do everything the same.
You're usually looking at attraction over the course of two days or more. You have plenty of time, so rushing things like you have to do in a club(with pretty low success) is not required. Also you're both sober.

Don't shit where you eat.

This seems to be a common one lately.

Go out. Meet and practice on girls who won't impact your life in other ways.
