Alright so I broke up with my ex about 10 months ago. Since then I have moved away but I still feel for her. It has pretty much NC the whole time save for holidays and birthdays with a couple texts. Recently, I visited her city to meet up with some mutual friends, someone I guess told her I visited and she texted me saying she is jealous and hurt that I didn't hit her up. When asked if she missed me, she said "as a friend" and I also found out she's happily dating someone. Now I'm no homewrecker and I don't think straight up telling her I still feel for her is a good option. But what should I do? I was thinking about sending her something like this: Wow I'm flattered that you miss me but I'm not interested in a friendship. I'm going to be honest, I've been dating someone and so when I planned the trip I didn't remember you? |

No need to tell her that you're dating someone. That's not the reason that you don't want to meet up with her. The reason is that you are not interested in a casual friendship, so keep it at that. |

Just say thanks or don't respond at all. The message you are planning to send her shows you are affected and reveals your true feelings for her, which is that you still feel for her. |

I would just leave it alone. Unless you dig her more than your current girl. In that case, tell her your not interested in a friendship and drop girl your with now. Even if the ex doesn't take to it, you should not be with current chick if that's the case bruh |

I personally wouldn't respond to that at all. You say no you're not interested you come off as a dick at least in her eyes you say yes with the hope of it becoming you're setting yourself up for potential heartbreak. Leave it how it is and carry on how you have been. Good luck! |
