Hi Guys I have been out of work for quite some time this is partly due to lack of motivation as well and maybe the fear of failure in interviews also.So I don't get to see many people and talk to many people apart from at the weekends. I do have a big mixed (male and female) social circle which is good I guess. I'm looking in to working a little on my inner game/ becoming more alpha. Not necessary for PUA as I mainly want to improve in my everyday life but also with girls too. So I have these books and I am wondering what order is best to read them in? 1. How to win friends and influence people 2. Pulling your own strings 3. Psycho-Cybernetics (the old version) 4. The power of now I heard that How to win friends and influence people will make me too much of a nice guy and pulling you own string might make me come across as a complete asshole ? Like I said I am not doing this strictly for PUA and more for my self development and every day life. Although I would hope that having this knowledge will defiantly help me with meeting girls as well. Thanks Xwj |

The field is the key. Books have their place, but sometimes just doing it is the best you can do for your 'inner game' |

I'm both with Vlads and PEBBLE on this one. Understanding NLP concepts and rearranging things in my own mind manually were a big boost to my inner game, but it doesn't worth shit without going out and constantly putting yourself out of your comfort zone. |
