One of my really good friends just broke up with her boyfriend. I always had the feeling she liked me and would hear that he would fight with her over how much she talked to me and he even told another friend that his biggest fear was that she would leave him for me. They are broken up now and I have gotten some random texts from her lately. She had been hinting in her texts that they had broken up, but I didn't think anything of it and she didn't say anything. Yesterday I made a comment on a picture she posted and late last night she texted me asking about it. We talked for like an hour. I asked her what she was doing next weekend and she said she didn't know so I said we should do something. She then responded that she forgot she had to go away for a friends bridal shower. Did I ask her out too soon? |

Sounds like you're the GBF and her boyfriend was an insecure AFC. The jealous and insecure boyfriend was the one that ended that relationship, not you. |
