Hey, guys! I'm intersted on the girl that works on the desk next to mine (another thread posted with the full story). Anyway, she friendzoned me and I started hitting on another girls to get her attention, and that is where things get wierd. Anytime I show interest on another girl she makes some wierd, kinda desapointed look or some remark lowering that girl's value. I once asked if she has any friends looking to date and she sent me the facebook profiles of some slutty looking girls with coments like "that one is a bitch", "that one has fake boobs", etc. I mean, it's like she does not want me but she doesn't want anyone else to get me either. She has had some bad relationships in the past. Is it possible she said "let's be friends" to see if I stick around and check if I want a relationship (wich I do) or just want sex and move out as soon as she said "no"? Any opinions on how to progress this further would be much apreciated. |

First of all, hitting on other girls will never get you anywhere with the first one. You will just hurt her feelings if she has any, and if she doesn't she won't care. What would help on the other hand is if you suddenly have girls hanging all over you craving your attention, as if you didn't even try and didn't ask for it. If you can arrange that, maybe have some girls texting you all the time and stuff like that, you need to have the attitude that you don't want anyone else but her - making her feel special to you, as if you are choosing her among all the options you have. Second, she obviously have feelings for you. I can't tell how strong, but she has some at least. Her need to lower the value of other girls is a sign of jealousy. So you don't need to push that any further, it will only make her feel like dirt under your shoes. What I recommend is to be a gentleman. If you want her, go and tell her, tell her that "I'm not interested in being friends, I want more". You have to do it the right way though, with the attitude that you want her and would appreciate if she shared your feelings, but that you don't need her (that you will respect a no and can live with it). |

That is precisely the point. I get the clear feeling she is, at least at some level, into me. I am not particularly good looking but I am a very funny guy and I make her laugh a lot. As I said, I once said I want to be more than friends and she said "no", I pretty much did what you said, respected her opinion and took it like a man. In fact, I made a point of saying that I have no hard feelings about it. Since then, I get a feeling I somewhat left the friendzone. As I said, she was betrayed in the past, more than once. Is there a chance she is testing my morals to see if I really like her or if I just wanted to use her? Could that be why she LJBF'd me back then and now is acting like this? |

Honestly.. From reading this I'm trying to understand if you truly understand why it is you want this girl? Based on her attitude and disposition she's probably hyperly sexually active and you're feelings for her are a result of her not having feelings for you. She's playing emotional cat and string with you just to hold onto your attention; and I can promise you that she's not worth it. She sounds miserable man. Is that what you want? |
