Hey guys. I've been applying to work at a summercamp in Canada later this year. This is a great opportunity for me to travel to another country, experience new things etc. However, throughout the course of my stay I only get 6 days off. I'm terrified of losing the skills and confidence I've worked so hard to gain over the past year. Is their anything I can do to slow the atrophy of my game? After my placement is over I get 30 days to travel so I'll make the most of that and game the shit out of Canada. But before those 30 days there's gonna be at least 3 months where I can't game at all except for possibly a day here and there. Any thoughts? Thanks guys Sly-Mike |

If you're out in the middle of nowhere, interact with the people who are going with you. If you're going by yourself, you're probably gonna lose it a little bit. Sometimes things get in the way of doing what you wanna do and you've gotta take a break. It might actually be good for you man. I had about 2 months where I wasn't really going out actively and the times I did go out, it just made it that much more exciting and gave me something to look forward to. I came back and I sucked but after a few weeks of going out again, I was sharper than ever. Just find other ways you can work on yourself in the mean time |

Thanks man. I feel a bit better about the situation knowing someone else managed to quickly reacquire their skills after a break. And the experience will probably be beneficial to my overall development anyway Just find other ways you can work on yourself in the mean time |
