I can never read IOIs because they can always be interpreted 2 opposite ways.
Example: you tell her "__________"
she reacts in some way. maybe she smiles, maybe she looks down, I will leave that blank again. she _________

does that mean "OMG that's so creepy, I hope he gets the hell away from me" or "OMG, this guy's got balls. I like this, I hope he escalates"
how do I know which one it is?
if you think about it, every reaction can be interpreted in two opposite ways. so what is this IOI thing I should be looking out for? it's basically meaningless?

How on earth would smiling translate to "get the hell away from me?"

I don't think IOI's are ever ambiguous, really... sometimes hard to notice, yes... not not ambiguous.

well, I dont know if you read the thread "that's sooo sweet of you" that's a thread that got a lot of attention here (thread wasn't started by me). the girl showed all the classic IOIs, she was smiling, saying "that's soooo sweet of you" etc. but everybody advised the OP that the girl was doing all that because she was creeped out?

That's sooooo sweet of you but I really have to buy something to eat now and then go home, sleep.

this was on that page were u said the girl smiled, people said that because of the fact she gave a time restraint of leaving. and actually evidence to state why she had to go. in that case her words were definate hints

Be so confident that in your world you believe no matter what she wants you. The only moment you back off is when she's OBVIOUSLY not interested... if it's something questionable always proceed believing that she wants you.
