Direct might work better for good looking guys. But its not that it won't work for 'ugly' guys. I know a couple of dudes who really aren't that attractive. Two of them are obsessed by looking attractive though, using facetanners and shit. The third dude I know, is actually a bit overweight. I wouldn't call him a balloon, rather balloonish... Anyway, what they all got in common is that they aren't that good looking but they do take care of how they look. They look clean, tidy, taken care of and all three of them also think that they are the best looking fuckers of the world (yeah, they tend to be arrogant). They smell nice.
