So I have an event coming up in 3 weeks and I want to ask this girl I've been talking to lately. We hung out last week and had a misunderstanding (both of us were hammered), things are smoothed out now I believe. I asked her to get lunch this week but we're both really busy. I don't wanna seem needy by continually suggesting times to hang out, what do I do? Try again next week when both our schedules are a little more free? |

If you ask her out for a specific day and hour and she says she can't, you should propose one alternative and that's it, if it still doesn't work, it's on her to come up with a "counter-offer". Take it from me, no girl is so extremely busy that she won't make time for meeting a guy she really likes. This girl may simply not be into you that much. And don't ask her (or any girl for that matter) out on lunch dates. Lunch is for meeting your buddies or people that try to sell you something, not for dating girls. |

What's the event? asking her now suggests that you're thinking too far ahead, like you're already thinking of her as a girlfriend. she wants the fun of earning this, so why deny her? I think it's better to focus on meeting her in the near term first, perhaps a couple of times before this event that happens in 3 weeks. when it finally comes to asking her: solid game is living a great life that a woman would love to be a part of. so live it well and fearlessly invite her. if she says no... so what!!! your life is so fun, and she just turned down a great experience. |
