| Post subject: | UK is more violent than anywhere else? |
Is it me or is the UK more violent than any other country? I've pulled in America, Asia and the rest of Europe before while on holiday and never been exposed to anywhere near the amount of violence that I see in the UK. Just this weekend, I broke up 3x street fights, stopped an emo guy from stabbing a chav (emo guy had just been KTFO) and a girl's boyfriend had to be pulled back and restrained by his buddies when his girl started talking to me. The knife thing was unusual, but the street fights are standard, see it all the time and I've been in more fights than I should have been (they always start, I never go looking for a fight, but I defend myself and my friends if there is a problem). I think the fact guns are banned here means people are not afraid of the threat that somebody might be carrying a piece, so they go all out, fists flying. Thoughts? |

I've never been to the UK but I worked on a police project once for a police general (we call high ranking police officers generals) and crime stats are somewhat similar to the US. Violence peaks at around 2:00 a.m. I got into fights too partying at night regularly back in college but not too much now since I focus on day game (most of the time anyway). If you do night game, getting into fights or seeing fights is pretty normal. Night Game + Alcohol + Girls + Jealous Orbiter(s) = Fights |

I've lived in London and it's not as close as dangerous as it is here in Italy. In the UK, it really depends on what kind of places you go to as well. |

London is very different from the rest of the UK because it's such a metropolis of different cultures. White British people are often the minority when you're out clubbing. |

As someone from the U.S., that has worked in the UK I can tell you that violence in the UK is nowhere near as bad as you think. Even in places where gun laws are stricter in the U.S., people just seem to want to fist-fight more. I'm from Texas, and I've had guns pulled on me/shown to me multiple times, outside strip clubs and bars. Honestly, the UK and some of the places in Asia are the safest places I've been. |
