Alright, people say it's not a factor but it is. Being pre-judged on height is a fact of life. How does one deal with it? Neil Strauss (style) is the same height as I am, how does he handle it? I'm fairly new to PUA but standing at 168cm tall, even with a pretty face I get pawned off at clubs. Do I peacock more to become a "bigger" person? Get better lines? Stand straighter? Can I get some success stories from short PUAs to help me along my path of acceptance? |

Some say looks & height is not a factor. Others say it is. So what is it? Let me tell you the truth. It matters A LOT. really! So what's the good thing here? It isn't the most important thing. I don't even know if it has a top three spot. Tell a girl, would you date or have sex with a short guy. He is 1.52 m! He is also bald, a bit ugly and quite fat guy. Would you want to date or have sex with him? What would they probably say? Now say that guy is Danny DeVito. He is a movie star. He is rich, he is funny as hell, he is confident. In most settings he is probably the center of attention. Now, can he he get a woman left and right, perhaps ten or twenty years ago? Confidence and intelligence matters most nowadays, at least on my book. One of my older relatives told me once. Everybody has something they want to change. Some issue about them. It's very hard not to let it affect you. For me it is that I have 10-15 kilos too much at the moment. There is another insight. Many girls, at least in their early dating life, go for guys that share similarities with their father. I’ve read some books on character and personality developments. (This was inspired by Chief PUA from the forum here, because he advises, at least what I got away from his programs, to ask whether a girl is extroverted/introverted. I said lets go deeper and studied those books meant for psychologists and doctors.) A lot of girls go for guys that share similarities with their father. But guess what! Some of these super hot girls have a father that looks exactly like me or you. Bingo! Even though I might get rated with average looks, I can still land any hot girl if the circumstances are right. Another story: I went on a daygame session with one of my friends. On a scale of one to ten is is probably a 8-9. He is also confident. Now his approach is to simply go to a girl and give a compliment. The girl is on the phone, she says "I call you back, a super good looking guy appraoched me!". Then she is all very nervouse, her hands are shaking and she is very happy and reliefed when he asks for her number. I guest in his first two weeks in PUA he slept with about three girls. Now is this fair? I don’t care. My grandfather from the second world war always said: “work with what you have got. complaining doesn't change shit”. I have to work for every number, every date, every close, like quite hard. The story about the daygame session with my good looking friend, I contacted Chief from the forum here (Chief PUA), as I am a happy customer of his Seductive Introvert program. Now he got back to me and said: "you should only focus on your mirror image. you should only compare yourself to your past self. if you are better than you were weeks or month ago, this is what counts!". So just focus on getting better. You can sleep with hundreds of very hot girls! You just need a different approach than the tall, super good looking guy! |

Looks and height matter. When you approach a target and right before you open your mouth, what does she see? You on a superficial level. She sees your looks, height and confidence. Everyhing is visual. She doesn't feel anything. Two weeks ago, I had a conversation with a 31 year old woman. The topic was about looks versus personality. We agreed with each other. We said that first everything is about looks. THEN comes personality. When a girl gives a guy a chance to talk to her, it's because she already likes him visually. Then if he wants to escalate it's all about game and personality. |

Height doesn't matter. And you know why? Because there is nothing you can do about it. On one hand you can use it as an exuse not to push yourself in game, or you can say Fuck it, I am who I am. Accept it and work with what you have. And I bet you the reason you get pawned in clubs is not your height, it is because how you react when people try to pawn you. This goes for all your insecurites. Btw, I'm 173cm and bald. Look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE9QSuSxIMY and decide whether you're gonna be a little bitch or big boss. Simple as that. |

Got myself some platform shoes a while back and it's a real bitch to see that I get more results when I wear them. However, it's probably more important to accept yourself for what you are rather than bitch about the things you can't change. Work on your strengths. |

Hmm i think this thread is really interesting. Because on the one hand i agree that looks and also height are really important too. But I always have to think of tom cruise. He is also very tiny but prob. one of the most laid guys on the planet. Ofc you say "damn dude he is a fcking movie start". Yes he is but also this is not changing the fact that he is tiny. So if he can put himself in the position of beeing able to outplay Lebron why cant you not be able to outplay mr Hollister in the club? Competitions seems equal doesnt it? Also on this: What do you think about things of your body that you can in fact change. I really dont like my nose, it is big and has the form of Cesars nose. I think beside that im kinda good looking (even with it i guess). But it fucks me up as well because every time i think to myself "This girl thinks 100% : "Wow this guy with a nice nose, how good he would look" How important is the nose and would you change it? Go to a hairdresser and ask for a nice haircut that suits you and put less emphasis on your nose.

lol! Tom Cruise is an actor, which means money and status...

Yeah dude but dont you think he can outcame Lebron in the club? With nearly same status and money? Yes and because not the height matters, but the frame (like you said money and status) So you can't outgame maybe Lebron because of his status. But the random tall guy in the club?! It is for "us" normal ones the same competition like for tom cruise to outgame Lebron or some tall actor i think |

If you look like Tom Cruise, and have his charisma then height is not going to be an issue. For most average guys here it will be. TC is good looking, hence he is put in lead roles. If you're good looking enough to be in movies then use TC as an example. |

I really don't think it counts that much, but I may be a little biased. I'm about 6'1 to 6'2 and I feel quite confident as I am right now. |

I am 168 cm tall too and I live in an North European country where an average man is 183cm, and an average women is 173cm tall I'm fairly new to PUA but standing at 168cm tall, even with a pretty face I get pawned off at clubs. But guess what, i am still gaming and hooking up with girls. And i think I am doing alright. Of course, girls of my height or smaller, i feel more comfortable gaming. I wouldn't actively approach tall girls (180cm and up) i have to admit. In the end it is all about your game. When i go out, i got approached by tall girls In a nutsheel, height does matter. But if you show you are having fun/DHV and you are confident, even tall girls get interested in small men |

Exactly, I think so too. Height just matters for girls of your height or lower when it matters for you. Im not sure about 1,80 cm girls though |

Man I have the same hight as you and yes it does mater. What I can say is usually peacocking is not such a good idea. What I do: * wear white jerseys, more light reflects you look bigger * get slim jeans they make your legs look longer. * have a straight up attitude, if you alk tall people see you as taller than you actually is. I use to say I'm big where it matters and when girls expect me to say something about penis size I say that is my heart which is big you fool. Said in the proper way brings many laughs. |
